Totes Rain Shop Concept
Totes is the most recognized name in the umbrella market, but its capabilities and innovations extend far beyond just umbrellas, covering a wide range of rain protection products. For Spring 2020, we developed concept shops to help our retailers visualize the full potential of the Totes brand in their stores.
Urban Commuter
‘Urban Commuter’ was designed for the stylish city dweller whose busy schedule keeps her on the move, rain or shine. Whether walking or biking to work, the grocery store, or brunch with friends, she doesn’t want to compromise her personal style just because of the weather. Eco-conscious and practical, she seeks versatile pieces that can go the distance—allowing her to arrive at her destination without needing to change shoes or jackets.
Outcome
Although these initial renderings were conceptual, they served as the foundation for successful in-store product expansion at mass retailers. This exercise demonstrated the power of aspirational design in driving business growth and highlighted Totes' expertise in understanding consumer and aesthetic trends.
